| Classic War Dozer M113A1 |
 M113A1 with dozer-blade bought in 1975. Once fitted, the kit does not impair the normal capabilities of the vehicle or it´s load.carrying ability. The vehicle can remain amphibious and the dozer blade acts as a trim vane in the water once the standard trim has been removed. Capacity 80 m3 earth pr. hour. This configuration is used by the engineers. Note the, for a Danish APC, unusual colour.

UNEX is a traditional manufacturer of machinery for continuous open-pit mining of large volumes of materials and also of stocking machinery for power stations.

Classical bucket wheel excavators on caterpillar or hydraulic walking undercarriage with telescopic boom for mining overburden, coal and minerals. Theoretical capacity ranges from 1 200 to 11 000 m3/h, specific cutting force from 90 to 168 kN/m. - Transport
Long-distance belt conveying is used for continuous transport of large volumes of various bulk materials. Theoretical capacity ranges from 1 600 to 10 000 m3/h, belt width 1 200 to 2 200 mm. - Stock machinery
There are two types of stock machinery: Stacker with a theoretical capacity of 250 - 2 000 m3/h and reclaimer taking material from a stock with a capacity of 55 - 2 000 m3/h.

| Caterpillar D10N |
This model weighs in at around 140,000 lbs and features over 500 horsepower. It is not the largest dozer around, as there is a 750 horsepower class as well, but the D10 is still a serious dozer. Dozers of this size haven't been around all that long (perhaps 20 years) but they are very productive. This compares to the D9 class machine (the next size smaller) which has been around since the late 1950's.
 Cat was not the first out with a over 500 horsepower machine--the credit for that goes to Fiat Allis with their FA 41 (big brother to the FA 31 featured on another page, but Fiat Allis is out of the giant tractor market, and Cat is dominating it. The enormous cost and logistical problems in moving these machines limits their usefulness to major mining operations, but there they shine.
 The ripper and the blade are both off of it. Removal of these items it not technically difficult as the blade bolts on with only a few bolts, and the ripper pins on with a few pins and some hydraulic hoses, but the sheer mass size of the pieces makes it a challenge and requires that a substantial crane be available at the assembly site.

The launch of the C-175 generator comes against the background of the success of the Caterpillar 3500 series of generators, which have proven reliable and the leaders of their class. This newest genset is equipped with centerline engine and up to 4MW of power.  The new CAT C-175 has been speci? cally engineered to address the current and future needs of the worldwide electric power industry. It is the result of extensive customer research to identify key product bene? ts sought by our engine and generator set customers�, said William J. Rohner, Vice President of Caterpillar Electric Power Division.
The big event in Singapore was attended by Caterpillar dealers, customers and consultants from the Asia Paci? c, including 15 people from Trakindo who brought with them some of their customers. During the event, Steve Kilgallon, General Manager Power Systems Division Trakindo, said, �The CAT C-175 is the ? rst of its kind to be introduced into this part of the world and has terri? c potential for Indonesia�. Steve added that the C-175 is the ideal choice in Indonesia, especially for big construction projects that require operational standby power. What makes this model superior is the amount of power it can produce. The C-175 does not look very di? erent from the 3516, yet it can produce 50% more power. This will allow customers to cut their power house costs, bringing them signi? cant savings. The C-175 genset was designed for industries that need a lot of power, either for standby, prime or continuous use, or for load management applications. This includes the health, commercial, institutional, government, public services, data center, energy utilities, manufacturing, industrial, logistics and communications sectors. With the new design of the engine, the C-175 has the tested ability to provide reliable power. The Engine of the CAT C-175 is supported by five systems; the air system, fuel system, electronic system, cooling system and lube system. Together, these systems produced a world-class Engine, as seen from the use of ACERT technology to support the five systems. |
